About Taylor

Hi! I'm Taylor! I have been in education for 12 years. When I moved to Logan, Ut in 2014 I worked for an after school and summer program through Logan City Parks and Rec. I did ASC for 5 years, while attending Bridgerland Technology College, where I graduated with dual certifications in Media Design and Computer Graphics and a 3. 6 GPA. After graduation, I was hired at AmeriCorps (now Teach for America). My job was to look at test scores, and find the students that needed the most help. I ran a before and after school tutoring program. I was also an aide during the day. My duties included tutoring during the day, helping teachers, and running an ELL group. My tutoring program was very successful, and by the end of my time there, more than half of my students had graduated out of my program. I currently work at North Star Charter school as a Special Education Paraprofessional. I work one-on-one or in small groups to improve hand writing, reading, comprehension, and phonics skills.
