My name is Taylor, and I have a lifelong passion for working with the special needs community. Growing up in southwest Missouri, I was deeply influenced by my grandmother, a special education teacher, and my aunt, who has Down syndrome. From a young age, I volunteered in special education classrooms and Special Olympics events. In college, I worked as a caregiver for an adult man with autism. After earning my horticulture degree, I worked at a Colorado greenhouse employing adults with special needs. I then spent a year as the Garden Program Manager at a Camphill community in New Hampshire, living and working with adults with special needs. My specialty is supporting young adult and adult men on the autism spectrum. I encourage an active, low-screen lifestyle through outdoor activities, gardening, and hands-on learning. I love incorporating nature into daily routines.
