I started caring for people with special needs when I was in high school. I worked with the special education department as part of the mentorship program and loved supporting the students with special needs and building relationships with them. It was then that I realized I wanted to spend my life working with people with disabilities. In my spare time, I like to read and play board games with friends. One thing you should know about me is I have lots of disability experience. I've worked with adults with disabilities as a job coach, I've worked with kids with autism doing ABA therapy, with students with disabilities at a high school environment, and as a companion for a young woman with an intellectual disability. My skills include building relationships, engaging in fun activities, and providing structure.
