I have cared for the past 3 years for an individual (now age 6) with Autism. She was certainly someone to learn patience with, but is a bundle of joy and real fun to work with! I love the pure interaction and imaginary play. First started with potty training and speech, but now is more geared towards socialization and behavior (such as curving tantrums). Simple nanny duties included, such as taking her out to eat, playdates, to the park, swimming at the YMCA, as well as necessary appointments and meal prep. I also have experience with premature babies, hearing disabled (including some sign), extreme nut allergy children, as well as blood-sugar level testing. Previous to nannying, I have worked as a dance instructor for children and adults of all ages for 6 years! I have also been a dance teacher 1:1 aid in the dance room for children with disabilities. Always a delight to feel that I am being of assistance to children and people, helping them enjoy their time with me (:
