Over the past five years, I have garnered professional experience in child care, commencing with my role in an early childcare center at the age of 18, followed by serving as a nanny for two esteemed families. I have recently developed a profound appreciation for the role of play in early childhood development. Recognizing the scientific significance of adult engagement in a child's activities, I am adopting a new caregiving approach. To implement this approach, I am conceptualizing a mobile cart equipped with diverse books, activities, games, and other age-appropriate resources. Taylor was our nanny for over a year; she started with us when our daughter was 2 years old and almost immediately became part of the family. Our daughter simply adored her. Taylor created an age appropriate learning curriculum for our daughter, teaching her shapes, colors, numbers and letters. She planned out arts and craft activities, took her on nature walks, and often planned out of the house activities based on her own research of local events. She regularly cooked her hot meals vs. cold meal prep, and would provide support with any housework, grocery shopping, and home organization as needed. She would also watch our older boys during track-out. Taylor would still be with us had our daughter not started w/ Primrose for preschool earlier this year. We highly recommend Taylor!
