About Tavia

I am a mom to a wonderful 3-year-old kiddo! I know how hard it can to be a parent, so, I am hoping to provide support to other families. I strive to promote developmental milestones through encouraging creativity, providing learning opportunities, and fostering independence. I believe it is important for children to have the ability to express their creativity in a variety of different ways such as cooking, being physically active, creating arts and crafts, or making up games. It is also important to create a stable environment with expectations and gentle discipline. Positive reinforcement, routine, and consistency are key components of providing a constructive environment. I have over 20 years of experience providing care. Some examples of childcare include; being a mom, babysitting, summer camp counseling, teaching swimming lessons, and tutoring reading and math.
