About Tavia

I've always loved being around children. I believe they are so healing. I worked for Creative Kids subbing for all ages including an after school program for 2 years and settled in a class room ages 4-5 for one year on top of that. My mom ran an in-home day care until I was about 19 years old. I worked for an independent in-home daycare for 2 years. Through out the years I've babysat here and there, but I'm excited to pick it back up again. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, sensory and imaginative play, encouraging independent time, and teaching self/regulatory skills . I am able to provide developmentally appropriate opportunities for play and learning, while establishing firm & loving boundaries. Im happy to provide regular updates and maintain cleanliness.
