About Tate

I've been working with kids for the past 10 years and really enjoy getting to know the whole family! I am very flexible and respectful of parent's rules and expectations. I have plenty of experience cooking and household tasks. Huge pet lover. I enjoy coming up with new activities, as well as learning from the children. I grew up spending much of the time outdoors, so I seek to share my enthusiasm with growing minds. Also, coloring, puzzles, and books are a must! I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology, with coursework focused on early childhood development and child psychology. I started my work with children in Idaho at the Community School, in the Early Childhood Center and as an After School Program Lead for the elementary school. I then worked for the school district as a Behavior Intervention Specialist with children with special needs. I've been a nanny for the past 2 years, and moved to Grand Island this spring.
