About Tate

Hello, my name is Tate, and I am a current second-year Occupational Therapy Student. Currently, I am looking to gain more experience in child care. I am interested in pediatrics, and working in child care will allow me to create meaningful, interpersonal relationships with not just the child, but the whole family since we as OTs focus on family-centered care! I have experience with child and adolescent care for children diagnosed with developmental disabilities. When I attended Saint Joseph's University for my undergraduate studies, I worked as an ABA technician for the sports program and adult day care at the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support. In high school, I did 60 hours of community service at the York Street Project, where I was a classroom aide for toddlers ages 1-3. I also was a lifeguard and swimming instructor for kids ages 4-10 years of age. I am also CPR and First Aid certified! For any additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out!
