I have been providing child care for over 25 years. I am female and have experience with children of all ages across home, school and community settings. I spent 10 years working at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders working with children with autism and related disabilities. I have experience managing and reducing maladaptive behaviors (i. e., tantrums, non-compliance, aggression, etc.) and teaching age appropriate developmental skills in the areas of language/communication (including non-verbal children), self-help, motor skills, social skills, cognition and academics. I would describe myself as fun, outgoing, energetic, quick to learn and easy to get along with. I am passionate about working with children at any age and level, I have a flexible schedule and can provide references upon request.
