About Tashaye

I have been a childcare provider in NYC for the past 10 years, having worked at a day care for one of those years. I was a long term babysitter for a family of three children from 2017 to 2020. From Jun. 2020 to Apr. 2023, I nannied for a family and their daughter, who was 16 months old at the start. From Apr. to Dec. 2023, I worked with two families and watching their two children (6 and 13 months old) together. In Feb. I began helping a family care for their then 4-month-old. Lately I've been working part-time with a preteen on the autism spectrum. I am currently looking for new/additional employment, preferably long-term. I am passionate about childcare because I love being able to help children learn and grow. Working with children has encouraged me to be more creative and carefree simply by looking at the world from their perspective. The opportunity also gives me a pivotal role in helping to prepare someone for the world and all that is has to offer, which is very rewarding.
