About Taryn

I am available for part-time weekday afternoon care in Crozet or Ivy. I live in CROZET, VA and I am a mother of 7 children and 18 grandchildren. I absolutely love children of all ages! While I have worked professionally outside of the home, and received my BA from Northwestern University, my greatest ongoing achievement/work is "raising/caring" for my children . Instead of returning to the office with my professional skills, I decided with great joy to employ my mothering skills for the good of other children and their parents. I am extremely loving and affectionate, energetic, and tremendously responsible woman. At the same time, I am able to maintain order, structure, and needed boundaries for our precious ones, with a strong emphasis on safety. For younger ones, I am also playful, engaging, silly, compassionate, etc. I am very creative and I have a tremendous love of reading to children.
