Hi Moms and Dads! I am a current student at Cal State Channel Islands, where I am in the process of getting a teaching credential in English. This is a very exciting time for me and I am looking for part-time work while I do my schooling. Last year, I worked for a learning center in Simi Valley and gained a ton of experience with kids between the ages of 4-12. I worked in the classroom, helping with homework and teaching Language Arts classes during the summer, and I supervised the kids on the playground and on many fun field trips. I was required to pass a background check and a TB test for my previous employer. I also passed the CBEST (a general knowledge test required in California for all substitute teachers) and am qualified to help with homework and tutoring. I look forward to hearing from you! Thanks!
