Hello! My name is Taryn. I have been teaching High School English for 3 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from UMass Amherst, and I am just finishing my Master's of Arts in Teaching at Mount Holyoke College. I teach English 1 and AP English Literature and Composition in Worcester, MA. I have been tutoring intermittently since I was in high school, both in paid and volunteer capacities. I also served as a Peer Mentor in college. Even in my career prior to my switch to teaching, I was a volunteer mentor and match coordinator for a local organization called Linked Mentoring. Teaching is my dream job. I love literature and working with students. I am particularly passionate about Shakespeare.
