About Taryn

I have a strong passion for helping kids and adults become comfortable with solving math problems. (Algebra in particular). I want people to feel confident and excited when it comes to math instead of anxious and frustrated. I'd describe my personality as patient, bubbly, funny. Currently studying manufacturing engineering. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to help students become better in math and reading I started tutoring during my senior year in high school when my mom was taking a college math class and I would attend her evening class with her to help her with her math work. Since then I became the go to for people who need help in math. One thing you should know about me is I understand kids often get distracted and need a break from task that can be mentally draining like math. My skills include tying in real life experiences, repeating things multiple times, mental breaks.
