I started working with kids at my 1st job as a swim instructor when I was 14 and then started working at the YMCA child care center so I got experience taking care of kids of all ages. The summer after I worked in a school with kindergartners on the spectrum and had great experience on how to take care of many different children's needs. Through these experiences when I was in high school I was able to see how much positive impact working with kids had on me. I then came to Wilmington for my 1st year of college pursuing nursing and got to continue having that positive impact while babysitting. This then led to me being able to become a full-time nanny this past summer and through this, I realized even more how much I enjoy being a positive figure for every child I get the pleasure of caring for. I hope to be back for my 2nd year at UNCW and I will be able to continue to help parents who need childcare to know their child is with someone who is well-trained and truly enjoys their job.

Tarina is Amazing. She was nanny to our three boys (4, 2, 6mo) all summer, and they loved her. Tarina was extremely responsible, fun, patient, dependable, and super helpful. Our boys have no problem crying "I don't like that babysitter!" to try and get mom or dad to stay home, but they liked Tarina so much that never happened even once. We couldn't have asked for a better summer nanny.
