I am very disappointed with her lack of professionalism. We interviewed her in late July. She seemed very nice and fit our needs for a nanny. We scheduled a meet & greet which she showed for and we hired her that day to start on 9/3 when our current nanny would be headed back to school. She agreed. Within the month of August I contacted her multiple times to confirm her start date, of which I got only 2 responses that said she was at camp and didn't have good reception. I waited till a week before her start date and messaged her a couple more times of which got no response from her. My husband and I figured she might just show up on 9/3 and to our surprise did not. She didn't message us or contact us in any way. Completely ghosted us. We were frantic and had to immediately start looking for care and I had to take multiple days off of work to take care of my child till we found someone. I would not recommend her as a nanny. She lacks the professionalism to communicate with you to let you know that she no longer wanted the position or had another job lined up. The courteous thing to do is to communicate and give the family time to adjust and find someone else.
