About Tara

I have been working in my church's daycare with infants and toddlers since fifth grade. In high school I was a camp counselor over summers and babysat for neighborhood kids. During college I worked as a part time nanny in charge of drop off and pick ups, cooking, and cleaning. I achieved a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with ESOL and a Reading Endorsements. While in Georgia I have been working at a private school teaching middle school and high school sciences for a varying range of specials needs and foreign exchange students. I have also been tutoring for elementary and middle school math. I would describe myself as understanding, resourceful, creative, and outdoorsy. My goal in teaching is to integrate hands-on, visual learning activities while promoting a fun environment. I love to build forts, play imagine games outside, and challenge kids to do things they never thought they could.
