About Tara

Hi, I'm Tara. I'm a nanny, tutor and psychology major at Rutgers University. I'm taking online classes from home in Pennington and I have a 4. 0 GPA. I've been working in childcare for 8 years. I began as a babysitter in my early teens. Some of my recurring positions included three kids (5, 2 and infant) and (8, 5, and infant). As a literacy tutor I helped foreign language students attain their GED. I've also worked as a daycare teacher at The Learning Center (ages 0-5), hospital volunteer at Capital Health Medical Center, teacher at Stony Brook Elementary School (ages 3-11), secretary of RU Big Buddy Club, member of Rutgers Psychological Alliance, and completed a child development research internship. Being a caregiver allows me to look back on my own childhood and improve anything that I think could've been better for someone else. Studying child development gives me insight into how to foster the best growth. I also value my ability to be present, engaging and perceptive!
