About Tara

I am a 27-year-old UC Davis graduate who cares for children and pets around the greater Ventura, Ojai and Santa Barbara areas. I currently care for 5 cats (both indoor and outdoor), 2 dogs (a Queensland Heeler puppy - 6 months; 10-year-old beagle - 10 years) and 4 chickens that need daily attention with food, housing and clean up. Caring for animals is a passion of mine and love to share the experience with people looking for assistance. I am compassionate, loving and patient, and I love nothing more than relaxing Whether the animal is friendly or stand-offish, I tend to get a long with them all. I have no problem swinging by multiple times a day as long or staying the day/overnight. I assist with feeding, play time and good habits, and know of many local places to take dogs on exciting and interesting outings to. I'm also very comfortable with administering medicine, specialized diets and consistent exercise regiments. I have a flexible schedule, a pet-friendly vehicle and a flexible schedule - and would love to schedule an in-person meeting if you think this may be the right fit.
