I like working with kids because they live fearlessly, and as adults we are often taught be afraid. Fear can often save our lives but too much of it genders growth and happiness. Kids are able to grow and change so often because they are less afraid than adults. I love the reminder that they serve that it is okay to be fearless sometimes, as long as it's done safely. I started working with kids when I went away for college! I volunteered at a daycare during high school, but did not start charging for my services until college. In my spare time, I like to read, bake, and go to the movies!

We’ve had Tarah covering some no-school days for our son for a few years. The kid loves it when Tarah comes and he always has a great day with Tarah. Tarah is very patient listening to everything the kid has to say and shows great empathy. She is very good at thinking like the kid and playing with the kid just like a friend. Tarah is also very thoughtful about what activities to do with the kid. She often comes with well prepared activities and games the kid loves. We would not hesitate to have Tarah whenever we have the need!
