Hello! I'm Tara and I'm a graduate student looking for some part-time babysitting and tutoring work. I am from a small town outside of LA and I was raised in a family of educators. My mom is an elementary school teacher and for as long as I can remember, she volunteered me to babysit and tutor her students and her coworkers' kids. When I graduated college, I taught at an elementary outdoor science camp, where I'd have 20+ kids under 11 in my care. During COVID, I spent 4 months nannying two toddlers full-time, but I've babysat and tutored kids ranging in age from newborns to 12 years old. I have 5 nieces and nephews under 2, and suddenly have LOTS more baby experience :) I have basic First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, and CPR training. I also have an Epi-Pen certification. I love to be outside, watch movies, cook, make art and music, and I look forward to meeting you and your kids!

Tara was super helpful in watching our 2 year old! She's friendly, relaxed and punctual. Our daughter usually is shy around new people but took to Tara immediately and clearly had a fun time with her.
