About Tara

I have experience teaching pom & cheer and hip-hop to children ages 5-12, and I have 17 years of dance training experience in various styles including: jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, contemporary, and musical theater. I grew doing competitions, and was on my high school's dance company for all 3 years. I was the vice-president my senior year. I was also on my school's pomline and cheer teams for 3 years. After graduation, I received a dance scholarship to Scottsdale Community College and made it onto their modern company. This year, I am applying to ASU's Dance Education program, to complete my BFA there. I am also planning on auditioning for the AZ Cardinals Cheer Team in April. I have finished level 2 out of 3 Yoga Teacher Training at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, and plan to finish and get my certification this year. I am also CPR certified and my fingerprints are currently being processed for my clearance card.
