About Tanya
Experience: 10 yrs
For the past 10+ years I have been tutoring students of all ages in various subject areas, including English, Math, History and Foreign Language. I've assisted with homework completion, test preparation (ISEE and new SAT) and overall organization, privately and, more recently, as a Title 1 Tutor. I am familiar with 504 and IEPs and am comfortable working closely with classroom and Special Education teachers. The students I have worked with include those suffering from Dyslexia, Turrets Syndrome and severe ADHD, along with those in AP and Honors classes. In recent years I have tutored in a public setting, but due to COVID-19, I have been tutoring via online and will be accepting students into my home on Tuesdays and Thursdays to learn alongside my 3 children and will be available outside of my home M W F. At your request, I am happy to provide references and letters of recommendation from past families.

Tanya is fantastic! I have two boys, one in 10th grade and the other in 8th. Tanya helped us all stay on track during hybrid learning. The boys relate very well with Tanya and are happy to work with her. She is very helpful in all subject areas and a true life saver!
