I hired Tanya late Summer of 2018. She came with a strong referral from another caregiver who worked for me and also worked with Tanya in a private care setting in a home. I spoke with the daughter of the client Tanya was caring for at that time, and she only had wonderful to things to say about Tanya and her special, gentle care and interaction with her mother. With that referral, plus her almost 3-years of combined caregiver/CNA experience, I hired her. Her mature, gentle, kind, ready-to-learn demeanor and mindset were a few of her traits I initially observed and knew would blend well with my father~who has late stage Parkinson s. As I got to know Tanya better and saw her care for and interact with my father, I saw a caregiver who is a good listener, quick/proactive learner with compassion and has a positive attitude who is able to care for my father and all his needs. Tanya is still part of our caregiver team, but she unfortunately has been sick and is taking a hiatus from working currently. When she feels better, I definitely will be working her back into my dad s schedule without a question. The only reason I could envision a one-star rating is during a time when Tanya accepted a new client job followed by getting sick and not being able to come to work. She s a sweet person and a good caregiver that I d recommend to anyone needing a caregiver for themselves or a loved one.
