About Tanya

Hello! I'm an experienced nanny, tutor and mentor seeking a family needing assistance navigating virtual schooling and homework this year. I'd love the opportunity to work with a small learning group or pod. I have been working with children this year ages 3 to 10 years. This is a difficult time for many of us, but especially for kids that are used to being social and are suddenly isolated. Navigating emotions, learning how to manage tools and time, and making room for flexibility and play are just a few things I prioritize. When caring for older children I enjoy teaching them about current events, grammar and writing, reading aloud and public speaking. We also have played educational games, dress up, watched science and nature shows, listened to music and danced or created art. I value open communication and creating a plan with parents that will benefit all parties!
