About Tanya

Hello! My name is Tanya and I am currently a student in my second year in college, majoring in Childhood Education. I volunteered at a program where I mainly worked on projects that involved engaging students in activities like art, writing, and homework help. I tutored math and english to immigrant students under direction of teachers. I provided assistance to daycare children and helped involve them in writing and crafts related activities. I attended High School where I helped out as a teacher's assistant, tutor, and a mentor during my senior year. I worked at Boy Scouts of America as a group leader to elementary school children around different boroughs of NYC from August 2018 to July 2019. I currently work AS a coach assistant to children ages 1 to 12. I am very patient, creative, and enthusiastic.
