About Tanya

As an adult who recently retired early, I understand what it feels like to become older. I have watched my parents age and over the years have helped take on tasks for them that they can no longer accomplish. My Dad is 94 and still pretty sharp and Mom is 86. My mother has had dementia for the last few years which requires kindness, understanding and patience. I treat everyone with respect because I know how difficult it can be to grow old and not be able complete tasks that used to be so simple. I hope that I will be treated the same one day. I am lucky that I'm still very active and able to exercise and ride my horses. I enjoy chatting, doing puzzles and crafty activities. I feel I would be a nice companion to help pass the time.
