About Tanya

I love working with children and have a passion for bringing creative experiences to children. I have worked in the child development field for over six years and have held many positions. I pride myself on being age appropriate with children and giving them hands-on experiences no matter what age they are. You are never too young to be introduced to materials such as water, sand, or dirt. Hands-on experiences help with children's social, emotional, motor, and cognitive development. I recently moved from California where I worked for a children's center. We were very natural and holistic with the children. I believe that children need to be stimulated without having to turn on the TV. Cooking is one of my favorite activities to do with young children because I love the look on their faces when were are finished and they get to eat what they made. I am a very kind and friendly person and strive to make positive bonds with children.
