About Tam

Hello my name is Tam. I received my Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certificate in my early years and I've used my training to work with the elderly in a nursing home for a few years. Since then I've cared for my growing family for 35 years. Most of my experience has come from life. I took care of my grandmother until she passed, I helped my young friend with her medical needs until she died of cancer. My father lived with me for 15 years and I assisted him with his in-home dialysis. I took care of my mother who suffered with schizophrenia, a stroke that caused her to be bed ridden, and then eventually she died from dementia. My 84-year-old mother-in-law currently lives with us and I do my best to assist her too. I believe everyone deserves an opportunity to be as independent as possible and to preserve their dignity but I know that sometimes we all need a little extra help. I love people and I'm especially sensitive to the vulnerable. Please let me help you.
