I have experience with special needs children that range from 5years of age to 13 years of age. I have been in a class room unit of severely handicapped children. I have cared directly for down syndrome, severely disabled non mobile, and ADHD special needs children. My title was a paraprofessional for disabled children. I have had the opportunity to work with these children and receive reward by seeing the development each child's individual accomplishment. I love the fact that I have made a difference in working with a special child is rewarding enough within itself.
