I'd describe my personality as caring, responsible and personable. I like caring for seniors because I have always had a passion as a nurse for the older population and how I can assist them to safely age at home. I'm looking for a job that I can use my nurse experience to better a Senior's life, provide resources or recommendations or provide support. I started caring for seniors when I graduated nursing school 25 years ago. I worked on a Med-Surg Geriatric unit for 10 years. I have worked as a Home Care nurse the past 10 years. In my spare time, I like to garden, beekeeping, pet care and read. The Mountains is my Happy place! One thing you should know about me is I am responsible and caring. I have been a nurse for 25 years and have been a Certified Case Manager for 20 years. I have a wealth of information and resources to help families. My skills include medication management, assisting with in home care and safety and planning home care after rehab or hospitalization.
