Caregiver to a young boy with autism -- March 2000 to the present (with two breaks abroad). As a caregiver to my young friend, I have been responsible for his daily physical care as well as supporting the family's goals for his communication skills and social development. We shop, bowl, go mini golfing, and spend hours in the pool. I have taken care of him and his brothers at his house while his parents travel. I have also in that time worked for other families. Before and after school care. I have also worked with older adults with special needs such as Dementia and Alzheimers. Helped with daily household chores and errands. Also, with medication reminders. I enjoy working with people of all ages.
