As an engagement companion, I take seniors to various activities that align with their interests. I facilitate interactions that bring them joy - through exercise, music, animals, children, art, nature and dementia friendly social activities. I am seeking to balance my week with some "junior" clients, 0-5 yrs old. Helping them engage and explore the world around them draws on similar skills of creativity and analysis of language and behavior - and will keep my skills sharp for future grandbabies.
