About Tameka

Hi future scholars and parents. My name is Tameka , and I am so excited to be working with your scholar. I have been a full time educator for 25 years. I am certified to teach English Language Arts (ELA), Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. I am currently a Middle School ELA Teacher. I service scholars in grades 6-8. One of the benefits of teaching scholars for 3 years is that you get to build a relationship with them and see them grow. Frequently my scholars come to me performing below grade level. However, once they leave me most of my scholars are on or above level. My passion is helping young people become lifelong readers and writers. I believe that all students can succeed; some of them just need a little extra help. I look forward to working with you and your scholar.
