I started my love for children with babysitting jobs as a young girl. It was an easy decision for me to go to college and pursue an early childhood and elementary degree. I started my journey in 1985 at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I graduated with a degree in Education in 1989. My first teaching job was at Engleman Elementary School. I taught for 10 years and then stayed home to raise my 3 children. I went back to teaching when my youngest was going into Kindergarten. My last 18 years of teaching was at Dodge Elementary School. I can truly say that I loved teaching and working with kids and was blessed to have had this amazing career. I am still employed with GIPS as a substitute teacher. I am very active and love the outdoors. I would welcome the opportunity to care for children and bring fun and enjoyment to their lives.
