About Tamara

I feel most rewarded when I guide a child's passions and curiosities. It is enthralling developing their identity and their independence along side them. One of my favorite activities is to create activities that suit that child's specific interests. It allows me to use my creativity. I am an extroverted theatre and song type, which children find fascinating. I really love to get them out of their shells. It creates trust to express yourself and helps build secure attachments. I am also an educated, progressive disciplinarian. Professionally, I've practiced Positive Discipline. I never shame and treat children as whole humans. I am a Montessori trained Early Childhood Ed teacher and hold a degree in Human Development. However, I prefer private childcare. I enjoy the freedom of creating and scaffolding without regulation. I adore catering personalized activities. I also create more intimate bonds through zeroed in focus, and typically am in their lives longer.
