About Tamara

My name is Tamara! I've worked with children of all ages for a little over 20 years! I started out in an infant day care classroom and since then, I have served as a preschool teacher, coordinator and director for the YMCA in my home town of Westfield, NJ. I moved to Philadelphia a little over 12 years ago and almost immediately began working in the 2-year-old classroom at Funkids (a CCLC company). While at Funkids, I worked in almost every classroom (6w - 5yrs) on a regular basis, taught Math and Phonics enrichment programs and eventually took a position as a classroom teacher, once again! After Funkids closed their doors, I spent 3 years as the nanny to a Share of 3 (but up to 5) of my former students until they went off to Kindergarten. After that, I spent quite a bit of time focusing on infants and toddlers in individual homes until I began another share that lasted just under 2 years until I moved back to NJ to care for my great grandmother.
