About Talya

Hello! My name is Talya and I am a recent graduate of UCLA, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and graduated with a 4. 0 GPA in 2022. I'm excited to be starting medical school this upcoming fall, and I'm passionate about helping students succeed academically along their own educational journeys. With a strong academic background, including a recent MCAT score in the 90th percentile, I understand the challenges that come with rigorous coursework and high-stakes exams. My approach to tutoring is built on making complex concepts accessible, creating personalized learning plans, and fostering a growth mindset. I've successfully navigated the demands of both undergrad and preparing for medical school, and I love sharing my insights, study strategies, and tips for success. I love science (Chemistry and Biology, specifically), but am as equally interested in reading and writing, having been a student journalist throughout college. I look forward to learning with you all!
