About Taina

I've been working with kids for years in different capacities, from infant nanny care to summer programs, and I find it to be truly special. I've learned that patience is always key; sometimes children have hard days or need help to get through something they may not want to. Some things that I love about working with kids are: their creativity and wonder in how they interact with the outside world; wild conversations; and being able to be casually playful about life and imbue some magic and enchantment into things that may seem ordinary. As a visual artist, I like to draw and paint, and explore new mediums and forms of art. I also have always loved reading, and enjoy crafting my own stories through writing and visual art. Being from Brazil, I have very strong family values and enjoy cultivating a strong sense of familiarity and home. My skills include creative play with kids, keeping up with their routines, and maintaining strong boundaries, including for safety reasons.
