About Taila

Parents be aware ware of Taila, Hired her for 6 month contract that terminated prematurely after 3 weeks leaving us without childcare. Due to inconsistencies in care and communication, we also agreed to terminate. She failed to meet some of the needs within the contract which we were willing to continue to work with her and make adjustments, but her demenaor and communication with us changed. She began dictating to us what she was/was not willing to do (light grocery shopping). We were very generous with Taila (work 4 days a week, off a week each month salaried, always paid on time, and off early some days, included her in all decisions, made her feel welcome in our home.) She took advantage of our generosity and turned the tables quite quickly. There's been times when I call and could not reach her to talk to my children. There were multiple times the call was being recorded from a feature she has on her phone. Some of our needs evolved as I'm starting a new business so we requested minor changes outlined in a new contract. She was unwilling to be a flexible caretaker, although verbally, she expressed compliance then later changed her mind. With the inconsistencies and sharp change in communication, the trust was lost. Ultimately, Tiala was not an overall good fit for our family for those reasons.
