I've gained my experience as a caregiver by committing to my role as a direct support professional and nurse assistant, with my experience assisting with activities of daily living with children and adults with developmental disabilities I've learned how to delegate tasks, perform light housekeeping duties, picking up and dropping off individuals to their appointments, administering medication and ensuring the safety of those I'm caring for. I'm a licensed certified nurse assistant and phlebotomist and will be continuing my education as an Occupational Therapist.
