About Sylvie

Hi, my name is Sylvie, and I'm currently a part pre school teacher and college student, going for my bachelors degree in human deferment-early childhood education! I started working with kids when I was 17 in my senior year of high school, looking for my first job. I worked at this center for two years as a daycare float, learning the core responsibilities and seeing the impacts I was able to make on children. In 2024, I began working at the early learning center located on my college campus, WSUV. For the past 9 months, I've been the preschool assistant teacher and have grown such amazing bonds with the children in my class, while learning so much about the different ways and benefits of different teaching styles, and finding a way that allows them to be independent and learn important socio-emotional skills, has been very fulfilling. In my spare time, I love to practice meditation, yoga, read, enjoy nature, dance, and hang out with the people I love.
