I've known Sylvia for over 5 years now. We have volunteered together in many different aspects of service. I have seen her care for children of immigrant workers and teach them English. I have also seen her feed and give medical attention and care for the homeless. In any situation that she is placed, she immediately comes in and takes control becoming responsible for whatever work tasks that need to be done. She exhibits excellent leadership qualities.
