I have worked as an in-home senior caregiver for several clients both privately and through in-home care businesses for the past 15 years. I cared for both my parents in their homes in Boulder City. I helped my father manage his diabetes. He lived till 93, but died from a brain hemorrhage, not from diabetes! My mother had Alzheimer's, and lived till 90. I am an advocate of the benefits of proper nutrition and exercise for each of these progressive diseases. I am an excellent cook and will be happy to share recipes and information. As a Certified Caregiver, Substitute Teacher and Certified Tutor for the School District, as well as getting clearances to work with Foster Children, I have passed numerous background checks over the past 15 years.
