Hi, I'm Sydney! I'm an 18-year-old Nashville native, and college student at the University of Tennessee, majoring in therapeutic recreation. I have roughly two years of experience formally working with kids. I love meeting new people and working to create enjoyable, memorable experiences. Whether it's playing sports or games, doing art, playing pretend, or just hanging out and helping them with whatever they're interested in, my priority is to make sure your kids are comfortable and have fun! I've worked with kids of all ages, including those with special needs, and I'm happy to adapt to whatever needs your family may have. I can do basic cooking or meal prepping and light housework, and I'm comfortable with pets of all kinds. I like to follow parents' guidance when it comes to communication, rules and routines, so that everything can stay consistent for your family. Sydney is amazing, and we were SO lucky to have her as a caregiver! She watched my 4-year-old son while we were without a preschool for a few months. She was so reliable, responsive, and kind. My son loved her- she played with him the whole time she was at our house (such a wonderful change from caregivers who are on their phones every few minutes!). I whole-heartedly recommend Sydney! We moved to another state- otherwise we would still call her immediately when we needed child care!
