About Sydney

Hi, my name is Sydney. I am a 22-year-old college student majoring in media studies at The New School. For the last 5 years, I have worked in hospitality, which has taught me patience and a strong work ethic. I grew up with a family dog, and I now have a cat of my own. I am incredibly excited to meet new animals with the goal of creating a strong, trusting bond. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, mellow, and empathetic I love working with animals because I absolutely adore and respect all they do for us. Having grown up around animals and now having one of my own, I understand how challenging it can be to trust a pet in the hands of someone else. It brings me joy to comfort an animal and do my best to understand their personality, making the transition for them calm and easy. Any time spent around an animal is a blessing. In my spare time, I like to knit, dance, write poetry, and spend time with my cat.
