About Sydney

I'd describe my personality as patient, creative, and kind. It's important to me that those around me feel safe in my presence. I grew up taking care of my three younger siblings, and I have a passion for working with special needs individuals. My patience has been an advantage. I love creative tasks, such as making jewelry, doing crafts, and imaginary play. I started babysitting when my sister was born, at 12. I help care for my three younger siblings, including overnights. In high school, I got the opportunity to tutor for the special education class. I also volunteered for Special Olympics, and Night to Shine (a dance held for those with special needs). After I graduated, I worked for a summer as a 1:1 counselor for children with behavioral issues. In my spare time, I love to do crafts. One of my favorite things to do is make jewelry. I collect fun and unique earrings, some of which I've made myself. I enjoy using clay. I also like baking, thrift shopping, and watching movies.
