About Sydney

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, friendly, and caring. I like working with kids because I love to spend time with and make fun memories both with and for the kids I watch, while also helping them learn to be safe and polite to others. I started working with kids when my younger siblings were born. My brother is four years younger and my sister is 13 years younger than me, so I have helped to care for them my entire life. I also volunteered as a summer camp counselor for two years in high school, and have since babysat for many families in my neighborhood. One thing you should know about me is I have worked with a wide variety of children, including those with disabilities such as anemia, speech and learning impediments, as well as non-verbal autism. My skills include a CPR certification, strong de-escalation abilities, and a never-ending supply of fun activity ideas.
