About Sydney

Hi, I'm Syd. I graduated from USD this past May and have moved back to San Diego to stage manage the USD undergrad production. I'm looking for a job during the day as I tend to work 5-10 p.m. My primary child care experience has been with large groups, I worked with youth theatre supervising and entertaining kids in productions as well as during summer camps. I also have experience babysitting, helping with homework, and creating lesson plans for small book classes I taught. My greatest joy in life is seeing my nieces and nephew. I truly enjoy spending time with kids and think how we talk to kids and shape their experience of the world is so important. I like working with kids because they're so genuine. I love talking to kids about what they're excited about and seeing the world through their eyes. Kind adults were so important to me growing up and it's a joy to be able to give that nurturing back to kids I work with.
